Marley

Remember the maternity session a while back with Mario + Ashley? Well on December 15, 2010 Miss Marley Grace was welcomed into this world by her loving parents. I ran into Ashley, Mario and Marley at Target a couple of weeks later and jumped at the chance to ask them if I could take newborn pics. Lucky for me they said yes! :) Here are some of my favs from our morning. Hope you enjoy!

Ashley and Mario thank you again so very much for welcoming me into your home and allowing me to share in and capture this special time for your new family! I can't wait to watch Marley grow and spend many more days with y'all on the other side of my lens! Love ya!

"Mom, I'm a big kid now..."

It's as though a switch went off the week of his 8th birthday, suddenly everything was about how he was no longer a child, no, he was a big kid.
I would try to explain, "Yes, you are a big kid, but you're still a kid. Bigger yes, another year older, yes, but still a kid."
"Arrggh," he'd say as he would roll his eyes and look back at me, "You just don't get it!"
"Maybe you're right Bud, maybe I don't get it. You're my only child, the love of my life, and even though another year has passed, you're still and always will be my Baby."
"All right Mom, just don't call me a baby, ok?!?"
"Ok, Dude. You got it!" ;)

Bud chose a bowling party at Main Event this year, you know since he's such a big kid. ;)
It was awesome! We had a BLAST!!! :)

Love you Boogie! (is that better than Baby? lol! ;)

JOHNNY'S A GRADUATE!!!

That's right Baby! It's over, he's done it. And I couldn't be PROUDER! We may not have had your typical cookie cutter college experience, in fact we had the complete opposite. We had a baby, bills, a new family, a new relationship, and endless responsibilities when we were still pretty much kids ourselves. But despite it all we did it, we made it through, you and me! And that is an accomplishment in itself! I LOVE YOU!!!

Kathy + Chris + Jonah + Brogan + a lil bit of Talon Jay

Meet the Rodriguez family! Noooo, we're not related, but I love them lots none the less! :) I've known Kathy my entire life, met Chris when they started dating, stood up as a bridesmaid in their wedding, and have watched them grown in love and in life. Kathy called wanting pics in time for Christmas and I was happy to oblige! I was even able to snap a few shots with the newest member of their extended family, their nephew Talon. These little boys were adorable, the cuteness was almost too much too handle! :) Here's a few of my favs from our day!
